So, I picked up Armada a few days back along with a number of other space civ games that I am slowly trying out as I am sick of playing Galactic Civilisations for the last 9 years or so. Streamlined Economic System - Armada 's system is designed to let you make the major decisions about the development of each colony, without having to micro-manage every little detail. This way you can manage a large empire, play the game in a reasonable amount of time, and concentrate on strategy. It’s competent and enjoyable and if that’s all you’re looking for, have at it! Welcome back to Armada my friends! In this entry I kind of have fun? I guess I’m having fun because nothing bad has happened to me yet. I was finally able to colonize ice and dead planets via research, so I colonized a couple of those, and spent much of my time managing population transference, since I set all of my colonies to auto-build, just to see what would happen.
